The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

My Carbon Emmisions
During my carbon emissions investigation, I learned that a lot of carbon comes from two unlikely sources: Food products and airplanes. I learned that beef is responsible for a lot of the greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, not just carbon but also methane. The processing, transportation, and distribution by trucks and planes also contributes a lot of CO2. There must be a way to cut down on these emissions by having electric vehicles or non-toxic processing plants. The average person takes 6.5 flights a year, and planes produce about 90kg of co2 per hour. At this pace, the world is going to heat up very rapidly. If we could make planes electric or less toxic, the greenhouse effect would rapidly decrease.
