CO2 Emissions
A few weeks ago, I learned that for every gallon of gas burned, approximately 10 pounds of carbon dioxide are released. This was an amazing thought to me. Now, I am thinking of alternatives to driving all over town, such as biking and walking. It would be nice to live in a city designed using basic principles of smart growth with more walkability and smart land use than I have experienced in my hometown.
