Are carbon footprints made by people important in the bigger picture?
If you think about it, worrying about your own carbon footprint may be good and useful but the emissions made by companies are much easier to reduce and contribute much more to the carbon emitted by humanity. Focusing on reducing companies emissions should be priority number one and reducing carbon emission per person shouldn't be so stressed considering companies are responsible for much carbon emission plus deforestation, oil spills, destruction of habitats, and other harmful things for the environment.
That is true, one individual's carbon footprint cannot be compared to that of a large company. However, we still should do what we can, and try to convince companies to reduce their emissions gradually.
