Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

I think we should all reduce are transportation because most of carbon footprints were very high. If we figured out a ways to help are society be more green would make it a cleaner society. If we carpooled to school or rode are bike we could reduce a lot every day. Another way we could have are carbon foot print know would be taking public transportation lie the bus. If we did these acts 3 days a week it would reduces are carbon foot print buy a lot just buy exercising or going with other people. we should all try to take a different transportation to school.

I agree. Also, taking public transportation or carpooling would  make it easier on whoever is going to come pick you up. Instead of driving to school, or wherever to pick you up, and using gas and releasing car exhaust into the atmosphere, they could just relax and wait for you to come home.
