Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint - Transportiation
Does anyone have any ideas or thought on how we can lower our carbon footprint when we travel?
walk and take bikes
Ride bikes
Carpool with people to get to school, by doing this you are stopping other cars from having to make the same trip. This is actually a great way to lower your Carbon Footprint, instead of 5 different cars going to the same place it can be lowered to only 1. Also they are starting to make cars that are better for the environment, by using a car that does not pollute it can help lower the Carbon output.
Carpooling is fun with friends and it lowers your carbon footprint. You can also walk or ride bikes.
