Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
It is a want.
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?
I get a new phone every two years. I usually get a new phone when it starts acting up, but no I don't necessarily need a new model. While purchasing I don't really take into consideration of the impact it will have on the environment, which I will try to work on from now on.
