Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

TIMA Carbon Footprint
Did you see the difference across the globe? Yes, I had seen what other schools across the globes carbon footprints are. Depending on where someone lives how much they’re provided can reason so some schools around the world might have less. If so, why do you think those differences exist? Many country’s are provided less than some, some schools might not have lights than can stay on all day or cleaned water for their kids to wash their hands with.
Did you use the calculator to reduce your carbon footprint down to another country’s average? No, but it would be cool to see how other country’s could change how much carbon they produce. What changes would you have to make? Stop buying plastic water bottles, turn off lights, use charger for any device so they charge to 100 then take off charger, turn off water when brushing teeth, shorter showers, shorten down ac and heater use, and change to solar power or an renewable energy source. Are you going to try to make those actions in your daily life? Yes, if we can lower down the amount of carbon of carbon we release into the atmosphere it could change the world.
