Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

I think global warming can never be stopped but if we try it can be slowed down if everyone takes the necisary actions

I agree with Josh. If we as a country, or even as a world, we can work together to slow down and lesson the effects of global warming. We can do simple things such as riding bikes or walking. We can carpool with neighbors that go to the same school and use public transportation when ever possible.

madi909

I agree. We can make so many small changes that could potentially encourage others to get involved in making a difference.

Yes

I think it will take a lot of patience and cooperation between countries in order to fix it

Global warming isn't going to stop but it can be slowed down in the future. With little actions we can start something big in the future so that we as a race can start working together and slow global warning  down so that we can see our children's children live in a happier world.

I agree, I think if we all start riding bikes for transportation and buy less goods from factories or maybe even carpool with others it can make a difference in the pollution rate. Even the little things can help.
