Having the latest technology is a want because older technology still works in today's environment. I get a new cell phone every year. No, I didn’t need a new model. Yes, I do consider the environmental impact on the purchases I make. If you are addicted, to break your addiction you need to be on your phone less and make fewer phone purchases.

I am on the fence about this topic I understand why it can be a want or a need in different cases.
