Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Conservation of water
Recently my family started being mindful on how much water we use at home. We started not leaving the faucet on, when we wash our face and not pouring more than enough water we will not drink. From that day on, we now are telling our extended family to save water by following just those 2 simple steps. This little thing will make a big change in the long run for our families and our world.
I agree with you Jonathan. You and your family are the exemplary model of creating change in the environment. If everyone would just turn off the water while brushing their teeth, so much water would be saved. Now, what people have been doing is placing buckets in their showers to capture any excess water that falls off of their bodies from adhesion. The water collected in the bucket can be used for gardening, which will allow the water not to go to waste. Imagine how much water will be saved.
