Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint

Enrique321

MY carbon footprint is 6,968 which I think is pretty good for the world because there are changes happening because of people using too much carbon which leads to global warming. These change the weather in states and in general like in Antarctica the glaciers are melting.

Hello, my carbon footprint is 5,600. Which is better than most people in the state. The average person has a footprint of 9,727. The Antarctic glaciers are melting due to everyone's carbon footprint. We can try to stop this by using less carbon. Maybe we can try to use less transportation, less food, and less home appliances.
