Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

Technology: A Want or a Need?
Having the latest technology is both a want and a need in my opinion. I feel like buying the latest iPhone every time one comes out is unnecessary. However, today's technology is always improving, so you're going to have to replace your phone soon no matter what. I’m in the middle here, what do you guys think?
I agree with you technology is both a want and a need. I also think buying the latest iPhone every time it comes out is unnecessary because they all do the same thing; they add more cameras. I believe there are more reasons than technology improving on why people would get new phones or even get a phone in the first place. Also, people like to get the latest iPhone because they want to show it off. I agree that sooner or later you will have to replace your phone because it is going to stop working, but it doesn’t have to be the newest one.
