More sidewalks and carpooling

I’ve noticed that many students in cities have lower footprints due to transportation. Many people in America, who don’t live in cities can’t walk everywhere, and have to drive most places. If town put in sidewalks linking towns together, more people would start walking places. This would also get people healthier. For places that can’t put in sidewalks, they should really push for people to carpool.
