Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

how long do we have?
With climate change becoming a bigger problem by the day and the with the lack of action, how long do you think we have left.
It’s more of how can we stop it my guess is we have 10 years before we can’t change
we must globally achieve net-zero carbon emissions no later than 2050. Before the effects are un changeable.
I actually think we don’t have any time left because giant corporations wont do anything and continue to pin the blame on consumers. An example of this is “if you don’t recycle our product, that’s your fault that our company isn’t sustainable”. When, in reality, the top 100 corporations release 70% of all CO2. While recycling is great on a local level, it will not singlehandedly halt the climate crisis. Not to mention the sheer amount of time the forests are falling and burning at AHHHHH IT IS ALWAYS HAPPENING SO FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And politicians, such as my man Joe Biden, aren’t doing a very slay job regarding climate change. If the people in power wont act, we are doomed ![]()
I agree with chunky p, we crossed the line a long time ago and it just keeps getting worse. A lot of the solutions don’t immediately take effect so the quicker we put them in place the better, this planet and the life on it can’t afford and more of us humans just screwing around!!!!!
