Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Aggressive Driving
Speeding, quick acceleration followed by braking, and unnecessary maneuvers are all forms off aggressive driving. Aggressive driving leads to a larger carbon footprint through more gas consumption. According to www.fueleconomy.gov , aggressive driving can lower your gas mileage by 33% on the highway and 5% on the city streets. A lower gas mileage leads to larger carbon footprints, and if the higher you have, the more money you can save. Keep aggressive driving to a minimum in order to lower your carbon footprint and save money.
Excellent factual evidence. Not driving aggressively can conserve gas which is less money spent on gas. Not only can money be saved but you can reduce the carbon levels in our atmosphere.
