My name is Hayley, I am 16 years old and I am from Mooresville, North Carolina in the United States. My carbon footprint average in total was 16,234 kg. This was slightly above average for my region. The majority of my carbon footprint came form transportation. My results did not surprise me. I thought I would be around the average or slightly over, although I was surprised by how much carbon I use by transporting. I learned that I use a lot of carbon on a daily basis. To improve the amount of carbon I use, I can find other ways to transport myself, like walking instead of driving. I did not realize the impact each individual makes.
