Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Paper or Reusable Bags
Plastic bags are really bad for the environment. They get in the oceans and fly around all over the place. They create pollution when they are being created and it is not good. People should use paper bags and/or reusable bags as much as possible. The government should make a ban on all plastic bags that could be harmful for the environment.
Good idea. A ban on the production of plastic bags will greatly help our world. Plastic bags are not biodegradable and can harm birds and sea life. If you still use plastic bags, try switching to reusable or paper bags. If you continue using plastic bags at least try to recycle them and reuse them as much as possible.
