Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How can I my Carbon Footprint
My carbon footprint is pretty high. I live a little far from school from both my mom and dad's house. When I am at my dad's house my stepmother has to drop her children off at school, drop me off at school, and she goes around taking pictures of properties since she is a part of real estate. My mother lives in Vallejo so she has to make a pretty long drive to my school and then her job. Her job can either be in Hayward or North Oakland because she trains people for her job. I could possibly reduce my carbon footprint by taking the bus when I am with my mom. When I am at my fathers house instead of driving to the store we can walk since the store plaza is right across the street. When doing my research "Blue and Green Tomorrow '' said "walking a mile and a half would release 75% less greenhouse gasses than we would produce from driving the same distance. Driving less doesn't just help the environment it makes us healthier."
I meant to put how can I reduce my carbon footprint as the title.
