How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I'm a student from IES Chabas even though my commute to school is a halfhour drive. I go there due to an art program it has. Due to this my carbon footprint is really elevated.
I would love to go by train but its undergoing construccion and thus not in order. If the bus sistem in spain were to become more reliable and more accesible I could definetly go to school with public transport.
