Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Çarbon Footprint (North Carolina, USA)
My name is Skyler, I'm 15 and I live in Mooresville North Carolina, USA.
My total carbon footprint is 8,008kg (average footprint in my area 15,918kg)
185kg transportation (4,184kg)
3,758kg home (6,148kg)
3,544kg food (3,636kg)
421kg purchases (1,950kg)
I was very happy when I saw that my footprint was lower than the average in my area, mainly due to the fact that I don't have a car. A few things I can do to lower my footprint may include turning off the water in the shower while I soap up or not rinse dishes with running water or use warm water in the washer instead of hot.
