Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I think it's much more important to think about what you need (a lower carbon footprint) Instead of what you want (like a new phone or clothes) , because in the long run it will have a much bigger impact.

I agree with this instead of getting tons of beef jerky I will cut beef jerky out of my life reducing the plastic waste I make as well.

I agree kinda a weird example but yes we spend way to much time and money on stuff that just hurts the envierment.
