Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I believe that most of the time when we ask for new things its more of a want. For example asking for the newest phone or things similar. Most of the time the device you are using is able to be in use but we just desire having a newer one. I believe it becomes a need when your device is almost unable to use. Like if it starts malfunctioning or it gets hard to use.
