Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Climate change is definitely real and human caused. It can be seen by anyone throughout our lives. The Earth is experiencing many record highs and lows, in rainfall, hurricanes, etc. We are experiencing many natural disasters and watching islands sink because of rising sea levels. Every year there is less ice at the poles, and ocean temperatures are steadily rising. But is all of this human caused? As a species, humans negatively impact almost every environment we encounter. We release greenhouse gases into the air, and increase pollution all around us. All of this has led to the instability of our once stable environment, Earth.

This is true, because climate change is a real problem in the world and many human activities are contributing negatively to it.
