Energy Sources
I think that if some energy efficient international group was formed to fund each other to start powering the world with a sustainable resource such as wind or solar, it would not only greatly decrease carbon emissions, but also give us a permanent source of renewable constant energy. The problem is a lot of areas of the world aren't advanced enough, or wouldn't be willing to become part of this program
I think government regulation is a very effective way to regulate production like this. The UN, for example, agreed on policy change that helped fix the ozone layer and banned DDT, etc. Sustainable energy production needs to be more widespread for sure.
