Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

unplugging your devices

moraviat

unplugging your devices and chargers when you are not using them or are done charging them can save a massive amount of energy which can cut down our CO2 usage. when we plug in our iphone's they don't take 8 hours to get to full charge maybe an hour or so we shouldn't waste our energy.

And we should also turn off lights and televisions and things like that also when we don't need them

I completely agree with both of you. Doing all of these things will not only decrease our CO2 usage level, but also create a better and more sustainable environment.

I totally agree. We should all unplug any unneeded chargers and turn off lights if we leave a room. During the day, we should just open windows to get some natural light instead of using a light. It'll help the environment and help you're parent's with their electricity bill.
