Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint (North Carolina, USA
Hey, my name is Jarrett. I live in Mooresville, North Carolina in the USA. We did a study to find out our carbon footprints, my total was 13,964 kgs. This was lower than the average in my class (21,430 kgs) I think because I try to save a lot of water and energy at home. It did however surprise me that mine was so low because I drive a lot while I'm in Mooresville and when my family travels. My purchases however are what were substantially lower than the average because my tries to save as much money she can between going out to eat, purchases, etc.. If I managed my transportation better and eating better, then I could lower that aspect of my carbon footprint.
