Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carpooling would be a great option to slowly diminish your carbon footprint, because your daily drive to and from school emits a lot of carbon dioxide. In addition, if you are going to you supports practice and after school activities its best that you carpool.
Another solution to student footprints would be starting a environmental club or something. Our generation is the future generation that needs to make a change and if we start taking actions and building awareness around the community we might be able to tackle the issue of climate change
Hello Astrofs25, I agree with you, carpooling would be a great option to reduce our carbon footprint, but I think if we used more public transport it would be more effective and less polluting. Obvious that to use always public transport ins't possible, for personal raisons and wants, but if we try harder to organize ourselves and succeed, we could greatly help our planet.
