Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Student footprints
To reduce student footprints i think we should change a lot of things. For example we can use public transport to go to school or the people who live near by can go to school by bike or by foot, we can create activity in school to sensitize students about the problem of the environnement for example in my school we have "climate week" where we do activities to learn more about the environnement and pollution.
I completely agree with this statement. Another thing we could do is switch to online school. Even if it’s only for half of the week each week we would save on paper, transportation, and the food and packaging in our cafeteria. This would create a huge positive impact in our schooling system along with the things you mentioned.
I agree with the first statement but not the seconded one. If we went to school for half a week and school online for the other half. I know I would not be motivated to do any work at home, like when covid first happened. yes it would save paper and less food would be wasted. but would it just be high school? would little kids also stay home for half a week? what about parents that need to work? what about students that cant pay for a laptop, will the school give them one? it is a good idea but there are a lot of little things that would make it hared to happen.
