Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Turn Off The lights!
Whenever you leave a room, you should always turn off the lights. It costs money and energy to keep that electricity on. Just by doing one simple thing you can save tons of energy and money.
Thats a good thought. If it is a beautiful sunny day you do not need lights on in your room. Just use the nice warm and bright rays of our solar systems sun to light up your house. it is very easy, and the best part about it, is that it is completely free! It will save you lots of dollar bills by switching to this highly simple and effective method. It will bring your home electric power bill down but it will keep your positivity up because of all the dollar bills you are saving.
Great ideas sir!
Thank you Logan for accepting my theory of how to make not only our economy and homes better, but we can also make ourselves better. By saving so much money and lowering our carbon footprint we feel that we are doing a great deal in helping our community. And we can still do that not only by turning off our lights, but by buying fresh, locally grown produce from any town farmers market that is in a close proximity to ur homes!
Wow! I love a farmers market idea!
I know! nothing like the feeling of saving your money and knowing how your staying healthy by eating fresh produce found on the corner of happy and healthy
Logan, I really like your topic. Like I have said in recent post, help your family out a bit and turn the unneeded electricity off before you leave to school!
I agree with you Logan, usually I forget to turn off my light in my room, but now I have a little post-it that is on my light switch that says "turn off your lights before you leave the room". That little reminder is very helpful
logan, i like what you are saying. this will help not only to save energy but also to save money. it will help your family and local communities of you turn off the lights before leaving your room or unplugging chargers when they aren't in use.
