You may not realize it but, it takes a lot of power to get fresh fruits and vegetables to you a lot of the time. From trucks shipping them everywhere and refrigeration it takes up a lot just to get it to you. If more people grew some fruits and vegetables or simply buy it from your local farmer's market rather than the grocery store it could really help the enviroment.
