Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Reducing My Footprint

williamch

There are many ways you can reduce your own Carbon Footprint. Some things I am sure I can do to reduce my carbon footprint is drive less, make less purchases, and eat less. I would walk more places to instead of driving to reduce my carbon footprint. I would also carpool with my friends to reduce my transportation Carbon Footprint. I would shop less and make the least amount of purchases as possible. I would also get on a diet to reduce the amount of food i eat which would help my carbon footprint. There's three ways i could reduce my carbon footprint and they shouldn't be difficult to accomplish.
