Take Short, Cold Showers
Take shorter showers to save water. Especially in Californa, we need to conserve water, so using less water in the shower will allow us to save a lot.
You do not necessarily have to take cold showers. In my house we have a hot water recirculating system which allows instant hot water preventing water waste when waiting for water to heat up. Another good idea is to turn the water off and on when you take a shower so that water is not wasted as you soap up!
