Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Laptops Vs. Paper
Being a student at Bishop O' Dowd, we have to bring our laptops everyday. One problem I think is brought up is is it more wasteful to charge a laptop everyday and use it for all assignments and quizzes or to end up bringing our laptops anyway and end up using paper. Since we are already required to use our laptops it might just be better to do most of the work digitally.
Using laptops uses energy from the earth, but using paper also takes away one of our natural resources trees. If you efficiently use your computer meaning not over charging it and not keeping it open when not using it, there would be much less electricity being and the earth would remain rich in resources and abundance of earth's important features and details. Working digitally is the way to save earth from corrosion and from slowly chipping away at its lifespan.
