Greenhouse gas emissions increase with human population
Climate change is caused by greenhouse gases, which are caused by humans. As our population increases, so do our emissions of greenhouse gases. Especially in developed countries with more consumerist lifestyles. In these places the amount of resources required to supply just one person with the means to live comfortably. Food, water, air conditioning, air heating, clothing, house lighting, personal electronic devices, and transportation all result in carbon emissions. These emissions come from the production of these goods in factories, as well as through the transportation whether it be through airplane, car, or ship. Unless we alter our lifestyles (especially those of us in developed countries) we will keep emitting greenhouse gases.
