Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Ecofriendly Transportation
Judging by my own carbon footprint and some of my classmates, transportation seems to be a large bulk of the causes of carbon emitted into the air. This can easily become lower. Riding bikes is something we all know how to do be choose not too. I'm guilty of this also, but when you have the chance, ride a bike. Also, public transportation maybe scarce now a days, but talking to you school to join the bus route or finding some neighborhood friends to carpool with is a simple step to less carbon in our air.
I agree, transportation is a large amount of carbon emitted. Bart is also a great public transportation option and it can take you many places. Bart also eliminates parking fees and allows you to not have to worry about gas prices.
