Collect rain water
This is a great idea to collect rain water. However, if refereeing to drinking this water or even cooking with it is not. Because of how much we have contaminated and populated our world drinking the water that is evaporated from lakes, rivers, and oceans is no longer safe. Until we can find was to keep our environment clean and reduce our carbon food print rain water is no longer safe to drink, cook with, or bath in.
collecting rain water is a good idea but you would probably have to purify it which will cost more money
