Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Solar Panels
Many people over look using natural light from the sun as there main source of lighting because of the cost. However, people can make their own solar panels. By adding panels you could be reducing the the price of your electricity bill and possibly even earn money by selling electricity back to others. This could also help with people forgetting to turn off their light because if it is solar than you do not have to worry about wasting electricity and your carbon foot print will dramatically change!
Solar panels are a great way to conserve energy and can reduce your carbon footprint significantly
