Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

carbon footprint

zarii_t

My name is Izaria Turner. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, United States. I'm 15 years old. My carbon footprint was 15,395 which was really close to but below average. The majority of my carbon footprint came from Transportation. I honestly didn't think my footprint would be this high and I think because I didn't pay that much attention to this before is why I didn't think it would be this high. To decrease my carbon footprint I probably will just begin to think more about my actions and how they effect the earth and the environment.

That is a good way to get better actions
