Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon footprint Sarah. Mooresvile, North Carolina, United states. 15
So to begin with the entire footprint was not good. My entire total added up to be 23,713 KGS. This means my footprint is way above average which is not good at all. The majority of my footprint came from food because my parents don't cook and we usually eat out a lot. I don't eat organic food either. I was kinda shocked when I got my answer because it was not what I expected. I thought it would be way lower than it currently is. I was very surprised that food took up this much space in carbon. I actually thought it would be transportation. I learned that my family should start eating at home more often and not eat out as often. My future actions will probably to not eat out as more and eat healthier and organic foods.
That is good future idea
I agree also that this is a good idea
This is a good plan. ![]()
