Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Shyheim Smith
My name is Shyheim, I am from Mooresville, North Carolina in the United States. I'm 14 years old, My carbon footprint total was 10,801, that is below average, Most of my carbon footprint came from the purchases I make. I was surprised that my carbon footprint mostly came from the purchases I make because I thought my family & I made fairly good purchases. Yes I expected those results but I didn't expect majority of my footprint to come from one thing. I learned that I should try to tell my family to make smarter purchases to help the environment. Tell my mother to watch what things she buys & try to get my family to recycle more
My footprint was below average also
Mine was above average. I'm also from the same school. Your biggest thing and my biggest use was different. My biggest was food.
