Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint- Brice 17 (Mooresville, NC, USA)
My carbon footprint is above the average American citizen, and well above the average human on Earth. My total carbon footprint was 45,228 kgs, this is so high because of my transportation. I have taken several flights out of the mainland, and to other sides of the country itself. I expected that my carbon footprint would be above the average human on Earth, but I didn't think I would be above the average American citizen. I was surprised that my transportation could crank up my total carbon footprint so much, just taking a few flights can rack up thousands of kgs. I learned that using different; and so many modes of transportation really make an impact on the worlds carbon footprint. I think that I should carpool, and try to find better solutions of getting places more environmentally friendly. I drive and fly too much, and it is increasing the worlds carbon footprint everyday I keep my transportation habits rolling.
I agree it would be beneficial to find better solutions to reduce your carbon because it is really high. The flights use a lot and if you cut down on those it will help the environment a lot.
