Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, United States of America. I am 15 years old. My total carbon footprint is 32,670. It is greater than the average carbon footprint in North Carolina and the world. Most of it came from transportation. The reason that transport is my highest is because we travel from North Carolina to Pennsylvania a lot to visit my family. My results were way higher than I expected. I learned that my carbon footprint is a lot larger than most. We can travel a lot less to prevent this.
hey
Derek your carbon foot print is really high. Its bad for the earth
I agree, if even the smallest amount of people started to travel a lot less than we normally do there would be less of a carbon footprint left behind.
