Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

A pretty small foot.

My Name is Josh from Mooresville, North Carolina and my total footprint was 9,467 kgs. I have no idea how I guessed it but thats it perhaps its because i don't have any for transportation but other than that yeah I don't know but still. But at the same time my home is 5,352 kgs. My reaction was a little huh ok than the results were expected and nothing surprised me except when it said that my transportation was nothing. As for my future actions I plan to do something about the house by turning the lights off more often i guess but other than that nothing much since i'm told that i'm "saving the world". And thats my Carbon footprint.
