Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Start Now
We as a generation need to begin living a more conservative lifestyle right now, so that the generations to come will see the more environmental way of living as a norm. We don't have to completely stop driving cars or stop using lights. We just need to do it less. We could all try to walk or bike places if it's a reasonable distance. Or try to use less energy during the day. If we start now and start teaching others to conserve, we could make a big difference and come closer to a better Earth.
I agree, we need to start now so our kids will be more proactive. It would be amazing if we could raise the number of people who car pool so there are less cars on the road!
I agree that we should use cars and use the light less and that we need to walk to places that are close to us
