Carbon Footprint
My name is Max Hammond Im 15 and live in Mooresvile Nc, USA.My carbon footprint total was 12,927 which was below the average by only a couple hundred which was surprising because when I was putting everything into the calculator and was watching the bar go up I thought I would be way above the average but most of it came from transportation because we eat out a lot and drive a lot of places like school, work, to the store, etc. In the future we should eat in more and go shopping less.
I agree. When we use cars to go out shopping we release more and more dangerous chemicals into our atmosphere. I think we should start growing our own food in a natural way instead of always going into stores for food,
I agree. Most peoples highest is transportation because we are always going places.
You could also fix the transportation issue by finding alternate/healthier ways of transportation.
I agree, my family has a garden in our backyard and most of the time it is better than what I buy at the store.
I can relate because a lot of my carbon footprint came from transportation. A good way to reduce that would be maybe riding a bike when you are going somewhere close by.
You're doing good staying below average, you could start riding your bike to close friends houses.
