Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hypocrytes
I find it odd the amount of people that claim to feel so strongly about the amount of greenhouse gases emitted yet make absolutely no change in their lifestyle to prevent it.
For instance, after commenting on how important it is to "save the world" I'm sure many of you will go home, turn the lights on, watch T.V., go on your phone, drink bottled water, wearing clothes from China, and make a snack using food from thousands of miles away using electricity. I'm not saying anything's wrong with this (I plan on doing it myself) but I am saying that you shouldn't say it unless you plan on really practicing what you preach.
Exactly, these posts are supposed to help people take a look at how their lives affect the atmosphere negatively. Everyone should at least try and take small steps towards being "greener". You can start by carpooling to school if you can or not using plastic water bottles.
I highly agree. A lot of people so say that they care about the environment and say they want to help, but in reality they are too lazy to make an effort.
