Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

You can unplug or turn off lights or anything that uses electricity when not using the device.

Unplugging chargers is a easy way to save energy. Many people will charge there cell phones, laptops and etc. overnight then leave them plugged up in the daytime. You should make it a habit to unplug charges after you are done using them!

IKEY

That is a good point, there are more than one ways to improve. Most of my carbon footprint came from food, mine was 7,679 kg. I can improve this by eating food that is better for the environment. How can you improve your carbon footprint?
