Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint

peytonlove01

My name is Peyton, I live in Mooresville, North Carolina and my carbon footprint is above average. I think that using bikes rather that using cars, buses etc. would be more efficient for the environment.

I agree with you

I think it would help out the environment a lot if we did that.

I agree that using bikes will use less or no carbon

I agree with you but at the end of the day, I know your legs gonna be sore but it'd be worth it to save the protect.

I think it would be more efficient for the environment as well, especially for big travelers; they could bike to short distances places.
