How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I think that needing new technology depends on the person, some might need it due to disabilities. I get a new cell phone every two years, I don’t really consider the environmental impact. And I'm not addicted to the point where I need my phone everywhere.
