Our Planet
The planet Earth is only a tiny part of the universe, but it's the only place where human beings can live.
Today, our planet is in serious danger. Acid rains, global warming, air and water pollution, overpopulation are the problems that threaten human life on Earth.
Who is to blame for the disaster? The answer is simple: all of us. Our forests are disappearing because they are cut down or burnt. If this trend continues, one day we won't have enough oxygen to breathe.
The seas are in danger.
Every ten minutes one kind of animal, plant or insect dies out for ever. If nothing is done about it, one million species that are alive today may soon become extinct.Factories emit tons of harmful chemicals. These emissions have disastrous consequences for our planet. They are the main reason for the greenhouse effect and acid rains. An even greater threat are nuclear power stations. We all know how tragic the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster are.
I agree the earth is all we have and it should be taken care of. I also believe there are other alternatives then using carbon to power cars such as bikes and when using light to power home try using energy sufficient lightbulbs so that electricity won't go to waste
This is true that out planet is in danger and I think if we all take action to lower our carbon footprints we could really help like by carpooling, walking more, riding a bike, changing lightbulbs in our homes ect.
I agree that the earth is an important thing in our lives. We as humans need to take better care of our planet. Overpopulation is also a huge problem because eventually we will run out of resources. If we take care of our planet now in the future we could possibly not run out of resources.
I agree, once earth is gone, it's gone theres no saving it which is why we need to take precautions and rethink the way we're living now so it won't ever come to earth being completely destroyed.
You have made some really good points in your post. I absolutely agree that the reason our planet is in danger is because we cause those things to happen to the earth. We should be helping the planet be healthy instead of destroying it.

Earth really is a precious gift. I wish I was more involved with community project to keep is safe and clean for all things living. We don't know how much longer we have or we will even wake up in the morning, so it's really important to try our best and take care of our planet.
